Our client wanted to improve power production across hundreds of wind turbine assets in North America. In particular, they wanted to precisely determine misalignment losses and identify operational opportunities to resolve them.
Adinkra engineered a pipeline to stream and process billions of daily records. We applied physics models to empirically measure misalignment and overcome sensor limitations, creating an operating calibration and validating it with lidar data.
Our models uncovered a daily savings opportunity in excess of $100K+ (at ~$60/mWH) now being implemented. It also created a tool to validate engineering data and identify additional opportunities.
